I’ve run into “Familiar Faces in Far-Away Places” my whole life.
Not very often mind you -
But often enough to grab my attention.
Just how I can drive (or fly) a 1000 miles from home and run into someone I know, is beyond me? I know my friends aren’t following me. I’m not that interesting. If I do have a chance meeting – my friends are as surprised to see me, as I am! Their agendas are separate from mine – yet here we are standing face to face 1000, 2000 or more miles from home.
How does it happen?
How can a “Rare Event” even occur? It’s too Rare!!!
I’ve shared this topic with hundreds of people. Almost everyone has similar stories they can tell. Running into friends in far away places just HAPPENS. It appears to be a fact of life.
You might say — No matter how RARE these events …
I should just forget it and get on with life – stuff happens!
That’s easy for you say.
Personally – I‘m fascinated by these stories,
That’s why I’ve taken to writing them down …
As long as they keep happening – I’ll Keep writing!
