Richard Smith has been an engineer for over 40 years, has published over 100 technical papers and provides consulting services related to acoustic machinery diagnostics.
He is one of the patent holders of the very first Wayside Acoustic Detector placed into service on a major U.S. Railroad in 1989.
Richard holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Physics.
