BLOG 14
The frost is in the air,
football dominates every weekend, and
the geese are heading south -
it’s time to start blogging again.

NOW FOR THE LATEST RARE EVENT STORY
One of my classmates (I’ll call him Jerry) tells me how he ran into a mutual classmate some 48 years after graduation.
At the time each was in Florida (1500 miles from their homes in Michigan). The day they met “Unexpectedly” they were at the same flea market. One was sitting at a table. When the other thought he recognized him – he went over and asked – if he was from Montague – and the guy responded, “Yes”. Turns Out – They had graduated in a small class of 79 students in 1960!
Had they seen each other in the intervening 48 years? Maybe once at a reunion – but neither could remember if they had. How can two people, who can hardly recognize each other, meet and connect at a remote market 1500 miles from home?
Let’s just say – It’s one of life’s Rare Events !!!
A Tip of my Hat – To “Jerry” for letting me tell this story.
