Today,

I’ve poured a new cup of coffee,

I’ve rearranged all the papers on my desk,

I’ve reviewed all my e-mail, and

I’ve scanned all the blogging information I could find on the WordPress website.

In short, I’ve tried every delay tactic I can think of to keep from writing my second blog.

I don’t see myself as a writer. I’m not even sure I can write.

I certainly can’t type fast and I can’t spell.

However, two things have allowed me tackle this blog — even if with trepidation.

First of all, today’s unbelievably accurate “Speech-to-Text” software

fully covers for my inability to type or spell.

Without this modern convenience I would not be doing this blog.

Secondly, I am totally motivated to blog — due to my extreme interest in “Rare Events”.

If several rare events had not occurred to me and my friends over the years,

I would not be writing this blog.

In fact, “Chance Meetings”, “Bumping into Friends Unexpectedly and

“Rare Events” make me want to Blog.
